Mary Borsellino is an Australian writer and general troublemaker. When she was younger she thought she’d grow up to write science fiction novels, but that hasn’t happened quite yet. Maybe someday. She also wanted to be a doctor, a hairdresser, a police officer, or a brave wanderer who had adventures. She’s managed the latter, but the others are all looking increasingly unlikely as time goes on. Her nonfiction and academic writing can be found at http://monkeywench.net.
Wolfhouse Book 2: Roads and Crosses
The second Wolf House novel, Roads and Crosses, follows two of the hunters as they navigate the aftermath of the shattering events of Origins and Overtures. Already prone to anger and self-doubt, Lily’s fight has become a fight against her own dark thoughts just as much as it’s a fight against the vampire gangs. And Will’s clinical, detached approach to vampire hunting has always helped him in the past, but now it threatens to cut him off from his emotions and his friends completely. And if they can’t save themselves, what good are they to Jay, Rose, and Bette?

Wolfhouse Book 1: Origins and Overtures
Elizabeth, Bette to her friends, hangs with her best friends, Rose and Tommy, and they watch old horror movies, go see bands, and hang out at the only underage club in town. It’s not the best life. Rose and Tommy, especially, tend to get beaten up. They’re pretty nerdy, but Rose sings like a fallen angel and Tommy is their backup. Bette’s no one special, but she’ll kick the ass of anyone who tries to point that out. When Bette’s had her say, Jay steps up. He’s kind of a loner, but still cool. He’s bi, lives alone, and goes to the same school they do. He knows Tommy. Tommy’s hot. He works nights as a waiter for a caterer and mostly keeps himself to himself, though he’s always on the forefront of fashion and couldn’t care less what the other “kids” are doing.
When Jay meets a vampire, he plays it pretty cool. He’s 15, didn’t expect to live much longer than that the way his life has gone. So it surprises him when the vampire seems to think Jay’s pretty cool. Bette meets a vampire when one bites her on the neck, just before the hot local band shows up and kicks ass. She’d always wondered why they’d never hit the big time. Now she knows. They didn’t have time to tour. There are vampires that need killing.
Vampires run in packs here, and they’re not easy to avoid if they really want you. Join Bette, Jay, Tommy, Rose, Lily, and Will, along with all their friends, as they try to get off the streets before the sun sets, or at least live long enough to see the sunrise.
