Hi again all! It’s time for the April 2009 Drollerie Blog Tour. In honor of April being National Poetry Month, this time around we’re all doing posts on the theme of poetry: how it influenced our writing, and in some cases, our characters! Come by and check out what we’ve got to say this time, and let us know what you think. Bonus points if you do it in rhyme.

Introducing Rachel Olivier on Blog Tour Day, National Poetry Month – Rachel Olivier joins the blog tour crew, visiting Sarah Avery with an essay on her poetry experiences

Drollerie Press Blog Tour – Joely Sue Burkhart hosts Cindy Lynn Speer, who talks about her poetic influences and shares a couple of her poems

David Sklar on Poetry: April Blog Tour! – David visits Meredith Holmes and shares a bit of the verse he’s written

Drollerie Blog Tour: Catherine Schaff-Stump on Poetry – Catherine visits my blog to talk about what poems influenced her

Drollerie Press April Blog Tour — Presenting Sarah Avery – Sarah visits Rachel Olivier’s site and talks about not only how poetry influenced her, but how teaching it did as well

Angela Korra’ti on Poetry – What I’ve got to say on the topic, over at Catherine’s place. Or, more specifically, what the man who eventually marries Millicent of Faerie Blood does!

Drollerie Blog Tour–Meredith Holmes talks about poetry (the good, the bad, and the formulaic) – At David Sklar’s blog, Meredith Holmes talks about the poems that influenced her writing her book Unseelie

Drollerie Blog Tour: Joely Sue Burkhart on Poetry – At Cindy Lynn Speer’s place, Joely Sue Burkhart shares her poetry thoughts. Also, some verse!

About the Author: Angela Korra'ti, Anna the Piper online and Anna to her friends, is the author of the Drollerie Press novel FAERIE BLOOD and has a story in the anthology DEFIANCE. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her partner and housemates, cats and birds, and a whole lot of musical instruments and computers. When she's not testing web pages or playing Great Big Sea songs on her guitar, she's working on more forthcoming novels!
