Start the Conversation!

In the middle of July, it seemed highly appropriate to those of us at Drollerie to make the theme of this month’s blog tour “summer”. So here you go, folks: a set of posts we hope you’ll enjoy for your beach reading. Or wherever else you like to read during the long summer months!

Please give special welcome to Imogen and Isabelle, jumping in on the blog tour for the first time, and be sure to visit everybody’s posts and tell ‘em I sent you.

Sarah Avery brings to Isabelle Santiago’s site a lovely little essay about summer where her family comes from

Meredith Holmes laments to Catherine Schaff-Stump’s readers that Texas summer heat is the bane of imagination

At Cindy Lynn Speer’s site, Jessica Howe shares summer and lightning have shaped the development of her worlds

Imogen Howson brings to Sarah Avery’s LJ her fantasy for the ideal summer writing environment

On Meredith Holmes’ site, Heather Ingemar tells all about how it’s a royal pain for her to write during the summer months

Jessica Howe kindly hosts my small snippet about the toughest summer in the life of my hero, Christopher MacSimidh

Isabelle Santiago shares with Imogen Howson’s readers why she’s not really a fan of summer, and yet! It factors into her work anyway

On Heather Ingemar’s site, Catherine Schaff-Stump shares the summer-related opening of one of her novels

Cindy Lynn Speer comes by my place to tell us all about being a summer girl

And that’s it for this round! As a final note, your faithful blog tour guide must apologize for getting these links out to you all a day late. You can blame it on the summer. ;)
