Creative Romance

We USians commemorate some great people and ideas, but we also remember some wacky stuff. For instance, today is “Create a Vacuum day.” I’m betting that’s not the kind you get for your mom when you want to annoy her on Mother’s Day. Although I’m not sure which would be worse… I guess it depends on where you put it.

When we got married, my husband and I did one of those things everyone is told not to do because you may be embarrassed later. No, not that one. We were married on Valentine’s Day. We haven’t regretted it yet, though when people find out and do that awww face, it’s a little embarrassing. Obviously, we’re pretty romantic. You can imagine, then, that I was happy to discover that February is also National Creative Romance month. Of course, you could take it as being creative in your romancing, but I like to think of it as reading creatively written romances (like the kind in our bookshop).

To celebrate National Creative Romance Month, we’ve put all of our romances on sale at 20% off for the entire month of February, everything from the sweet and mysterious Chocolatier’s Wife to the mind-blowing bonding in Beautiful Death. I hope you find something you enjoy, and whatever else you do, have a creative and romantic February.

  1. V-Day is also our anniversary!

We get that Awww! noise as well. It startles me and I look around for a kitten before my brain engages.

We’re actually going out to eat, all by ourselves, this year. I’m pretty excited!

@Kathi430, You’re so cute, I’d be making that awww! noise at you anyway.

Isn’t it funny? We were awfully romantic at the time; now we remember the day because it’s easy, but we keep forgetting the year.
